Ameren Missouri “Community Lights” awards announced...Faune Riggin among winners

More than $37,000 is awarded to 10 customers and local charities.  Ameren Missouri announced the winners of its “Community Lights” contest, a nomination-based Facebook campaign that recognizes outstanding customers who volunteer throughout Missouri. The money is split among 10 winners and the 10 charities of their choice. The five grand prize winners receive $2,500 and an additional $2,500 for their charity of choice—Brenda Bender of Cape Girardeau picked up that award, along with MS Foundation’s Gateway Area Chapter.  Five runners-up receive $1,250 and an additional $1,250 for their charity…KZIM-KSIM’s Faune Riggin picked up that award, along with the Special Olympics of Southeast Missouri.  River Radio Operations Manager Mike Renick says Faune is very deserving of this recognition. Individuals were nominated by friends, family and peers on  River Radio and KZIM-KSIM congratulate Faune Riggin.
