Mississippi County Sheriff Keith Moore reports an East Prairie woman is facing felony drug charges after she was found with a controlled substance in the county jail. 56-year-old Cindy Davidson was charged with one count of delivery/possession of a controlled substance in a county jail, a class C felony punishable by up to seven years in prison. Davidson’s bond set at $25,000. She was booked last weekend following an arrest for DWI, and an officer noticed a small pill bottle in her purse and found that it contained a prescription pill. The pill was later identified as Alprazolam, a schedule IV controlled substance. Davidson’s pharmacy confirmed for the sheriff's office after an investigation that she had not been prescribed any controlled medications during the preceding year.
