A Cape Girardeau woman has been charged with property damage and resisting arrest after a Monday afternoon incident involving a school bus. Cape Girardeau Police Department spokesman Darin Hickey says about 3:30 p.m. a school bus stopped at a residence in the 1900 block of College Street. 35-year-old Kinyinna Stevenson allegedly became aggravated and took pruning shears and began hitting the bus and broke one of the bus's windows. Hickey says Stevenson also fought with police officers who arrived at the scene. She has been charged with property damage and with resisting arrest and is being held in the Cape Girardeau County Jail on a $5,000 surety bond.
