The Missouri Office of Administration is now accepting management contract bids for the New Madrid and Sikeston License offices. The Missouri Department of Revenue oversees 182 license offices which are each operated by independent agents—part of the competitive procurement process Governor Nixon created in 2009—as an overhaul for the way local motor vehicle and driver license offices are awarded. Department of Revenue Communication Director Michelle Gleba tells KZIM-KSIM that if you are interested, you need to make sure you are qualified to apply. Gleba says you must submit your bid to operate the New Madrid office by November 8th, and the Sikeston office by November 15th. Bids are evaluated on areas such as expertise of the personnel proposed, methods for performing services, and whether you are and individual or not-for-profit, among other things.
