Domonique Pinkard, 21, who broke into a Florida home with an accomplice, but felt a need to take a nap in the middle of the heist. While his partner-in-crime, Julian Evangelist, 20, was carrying out a TV from the house, Pinkard decided to take a snooze on the couch. His buddy opted not to wake up Pinkard when he left. The sleeping thief awoke to police arresting him.
AND THEN THERE'S .....
David Alan McBurnett, 22, who was pulled over for a routine traffic stop and forgot he had a joint tucked behind his ear. McBurnett, who was already on probation for homicide / manslaughter by culpable negligence, was pulled over for a minor traffic violation. The officer then noticed the driver had a joint tucked behind his ear. McBurnett was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and violation of felony probation.
OR HOW 'BOUT .....
A Norwegian trio of young men and women, who unsuccessfully tried to kidnap themselves. The three apparently tried to blackmail family members by using a fictional kidnapping. Police declined to specify how much money the three accomplices had tried to get their hands on through the faked abduction.
