Two Cape Girardeau men face charges after police responded to a shots fired call

Officers responded to the 700 block of West Rodney around 3:30 p.m. Monday for shots fired. A victim said a passenger in a green truck shot at him. The bullet hit concrete the ground and no one was injured.

Officers believed the suspect resided in 900 block of Good Hope Street. Two people at the address were taken into custody. A firearm was seized from the home. Police also found marijuana. 18-year old

Joshua L. Faulkner Jr of Cape Girardeau was charged with class B felony unlawful use of a weapon

and class B felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. The driver 18-year old Damon M. Lee-Mathena of Cape Girardeau was charged with class B felony unlawful use of a weapon.

Faulkner has a $50,000 bond. Lee-Mathena is being held on a $50,000 bond.
