Law Enforcement football

Apr 17, 2013 -- 4:30pm

Two Missouri law enforcement football teams will take on each other Saturday to wrap up a day of charity events. The Cape County enforcers will face off against the Springfield Guns Saturday evening at Houck Stadium, with kick off at 5:30. All proceeds from the event will go to Junior Achievement and the Whittemore Family. Event Coordinator Dana Fleming tells KZIM/KSIM the football game isn’t the only event for people to enjoy that day. A $5 donation is suggested for entry to the football game, which will feature bounce activities for children, provided by the National Guard, as well as concessions and t-shirts for sale. Registration forms for the 5k can be picked up at the University Police station at 1400 N Sprigg. For more information, call 576-1428.
