TODAY'S GENIUS AWARD GOES TO . . . . . . .
24-year-old Jovon Graham, who was arrested in court on a marijuana charge just moments after he pleaded guilty to ... a marijuana charge. The Orangeburg, SC man went to Orangeburg city court where he admitted to two charges: open container and simple possession of marijuana. But that was before Graham was searched to serve his time for the charges. Police discovered the man was carrying yet another bag of marijuana and he was again charged with simple possession of marijuana.
AND THEN THERE'S .....
Kimani Parker, 18, and an unidentified 17 year-old, who came up with the brilliant idea of swiping an air conditioning unit to pay restitution for his shoplifting debt. The duo were spotted by police as they hauled the AC unit down the street in a yellow wheelbarrow. When police stopped the pair, Parker claimed "he has a civil obligation and owed Walmart $200.00" and was planning on selling the unit to a scrap yard. He also claimed to have permission to take the AC unit, which he didn't. Parker was charged with burglary, grand theft, and criminal mischief and was booked into the county jail where he remains locked up on $5500 bond.
OR HOW 'BOUT .....
