The Commanding officer of Troop E Captain George E. Ridens announces the results of a sobriety  checkpoint conducted in Butler County on March, 16 and a DWI saturation conducted throughout the Troop E area on March 17. A total of 207 vehicles were stopped during these four-hour operations.  Trooper Clark Parrott tells KZIM-KSIM that while numerous citations and arrests were made, it’s a good thing. Missouri State Highway Patrol made 7 Driving While Intoxicated Arrests, and various summons for : 21 seat belt violations,  4 child restraint violations, and 3 drug arrests, among others.
