An unidentified sign company that was commissioned by the Ohio State Senate to create a sign for the Statehouse, but misspelled the word "education." The sign was meant to read "Finance-Education Subcommittee," but the sign company misspelled the word "education" as "educateion." The mistake wasn't noticed until just before the sign was posted.
AND THEN THERE'S .....
An unidentified 19-year-old man Lincoln, Nebraska, man who called police to report a crime, while committing a few at the same time. Police responded to a call that someone broke in and stole two hookah pipes. While questioning the victim, the officers noticed marijuana, paraphernalia and several bottles of fertilizer lying around. And there was one other thing that was unusual, a bright light shining from under a door barred with a padlock with an extension cord snaking into the room. Yep, it was a marijuana "grow" room. The teen was busted and his roommates receive citations for having marijuana paraphernalia.
OR HOW 'BOUT .....
Timothy Bonner, 40, who broke out of a Pennsylvania jail and headed right for a local bar. Police say they were processing Bonner when he allegedly knocked the cell door off its hinges and ran away. Bonner stopped briefly at a house to swipe a pair of shoes, then headed directly to Richy's Bar, where he acknowledged breaking out of jail and then asked for a beer. However, police arrived and arrested Bonner before he had a chance to finish his cold one.
