The state fire marshal is investigating a fire that killed one person and destroyed a mobile home in Bell City. The fire was reported just before midnight Sunday in Stoddard County. SE Missourian reports county coroner Kenny Pope identified the victim Monday as 45-year-old Rodney Bradshaw.

     An autopsy was planned to determine the cause of death.

     The fire destroyed the single-wide trailer home. Crews needed several hours to extinguish the flames.
