Route A in Cape Girardeau County, between County Road 253 and Walnut Street, will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews make bridge repairs. 

Work will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
