A Matthews man in jail for allegedly molesting a child goes to court in next month.  On January 6^th, the mother of a seven-year-old girl reported to DPS Officers that her daughter had been inappropriately touched by her grandmother's boyfriend.  Reportedly the seven-year-old would occasionally sleep with the man while spending the night with her grandmother.  A forensic interview of the child with the Beacon Health Center revealed the abuse.  66-year-old Jewel Gross of Matthews is charged with five counts of Child Molestation.  He pled not guilty and had his case shifted to Jackson.  Gross had a psychological exam this summer and next appears January 28^th before Judge Ben Lewis.
