A Sikeston man has a new mental exam scheduled for his role in a homicide.  23-year-old Melvin Harris is charged with 1^st-degree murder in the stabbing death of his girlfriend, 28-year-old Danielle Keown.  Sikeston DPS located her body in the basement of a house at 8-67 Stanford September 7^th.  Investigators believe Harris stabbed Keown after a domestic dispute and left her body in the basement for police to find.  He was ordered to undergo a mental exam and that is slated for January 10^th in Farmington.  A case review will follow before Judge Charles Spitler in New Madrid.
