The gobblers want you to gobble up a great opportunity this weekend in Fruitland…
The Bavarian Halle in Fruitland is the venue for the 26th annual hunting heritage banquet. The local chapter of “Wild Turkey Unlimited” – The Boot Heel Boss Gobblers is hosting. Committee member Tim Hendershott says the KC ladies have cooked up chicken and dumplings and kettle beef. This is the largest chapter in the state and Hendershott tells KZIM KSIM they do a lot of good in promoting hunting for everyone. Including women's and "wheeling" sportsman. A special program for disabled hunters. 85-percent of every dollar goes into these activities. Tickets are available by calling 270-3030. The banquet is this Saturday at 6:30pm. Guns will be raffled off.
